Busy, busy week at work, but the weather was so nice (Ok, maybe Friday wasn't but, wow, remember Wednesday?) and I'm in a Springy mood since my thoughts have turned to Easter and I'd like to share with you an idea I came up with for the grandkids: Aren't the little egg cozies below adorable? I picked them up from etsy and then stopped by the dollar store in town where I found an easter basket, straw, and colorful plastic eggs that we'll fill with goodies then arrange the chicks in the baskets before shipping them off in time for Easter (I wish I'd bought a few more for ourselves because just looking at them makes me smile.)
On the move front, we're clearing out the upstairs guest bedroom and I'm amazed with all the stuff we've accumulated over the years. And its not even cool stuff! Fortunately, it is the last of the rooms that needed to be freshened up and tidied but I'm beginning to realize that with our schedules, maybe the April goal was a little optimistic. More like late May but we are resolved to getting it on the market so we continue to push ahead because the Black Hills are calling us and that made me think that maybe I should share a picture taken in the Spring near where we are moving to. The weather looks very much like it does out my window this morning on this less than warm Saturday but is so serene and simply beautiful in black and white. Til Later,
wow! That's speechless..!

Hi Nellie,
Nice to hear from you. I had to laugh about the gloomy part because I'm orginally from Seattle, and believe me, I know gloom! The weather there made me appreciate the warm, cloudless days when they did come along. But the Black Hills do have a different micro-climate (or so my husband, who grew up there, insists exists) so I guess it will all be part of the experience and I'll definitely let you know!

Morning Charlotte
and nice to meet you hear in blogland. Thanks so much for stopping by and all your kind comments on my
tablescapes.
Yes, those lil egg cozies are adorable. I remember buying some years ago for my kids when they were little
at the flea market. Your grandies will love them I'm
sure.........
So you are moving to South Dakota soon, wow, it looks like it is a beautiful place, and maybe you want have so much rain and gloomy weather. My friends son lives there as well as some friends of
ours used to live there too, and said it could be
a bit depressing at times. We lived in Germany years ago and where we lived it was sort of like
London weather..........I have always been a Florida girl and I was only 19 when we lived there, and I kept thinking where is the sun???? Since I had never been out of Florida, I thought it was sunny everywhere, so it was a bit of a shock to me.....lol
Well you have a lovely weekend,
Blessings, Nellie
